Game 1: Ionia scored 3 runs in the 4th inning, L.C.scored 6 runs in the 4th and one in the 6th inning. Melayna Braman threw a nice game only allowing four hits  and seven runs while striking out six, the team had zero errors but, we only put up 4 hits in 27 at bats. We really struggled to have quality at bats, we are a much better team than we showed in this game.

Game 2: Ionia Softball Slides into a blow-out Win over Lansing Catholic with a final score of 10-3. Victoria Gutierrez led things off in the circle allowing 3 runs on 8 hits and striking out 4. The Bulldogs opened up an early lead in the 2nd when Londyn Brown singled, scoring one run. In the bottom of the 3rd Erin Groom grounded out, scoring one run. In the 4th inning we took the lead for good when Melayna Braman singled on a 1-1 count , scoring one run, the Bulldogs tallied 5 runs in the 5th , Brown had a RBI double. Ionia ended up smacking 11 hits led by Londyn Brown going 3 for 3 with 3 RBI's, Alexias Daugherty went 3 for 4 with one RBI, Melayna Braman went 2 for 4 with one RBI. 

The Bulldogs are currently 11 & 9 overall and 4 & 2 in the league and we are hosting Waverly on Thursday.

There were alot of "teaching" moments in tonights games  and there are always things to learn and improve on so that we can move forward and find more success! #goblue
