FOWLERVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 6
Ionia softball traveled to Fowlerville tonight and suffered a 6-5 loss despite Pitcher Melayna Braman crushing 2 home runs, she took the loss allowing 8 hits and 6 runs while striking out 3 and walking one. The bulldogs scattered 9 hits in the game, led by Braman, Rajalia Esquivel and Erin Groom.
In the second game of our double header Rajalia Esquivel started things off with a lead off Dinger followed by Melayna Braman with her 3rd Dinger of the day. Ionia only managed to collect 5 hits in the game and Fowlerville put up 12 hits and 15 runs. In the 5 inning game Fowlerville commited zeron errors and Ionia commited 6 error leading up to the 15-2 loss.
Ionia is now 2 & 2 nd we are scheduled to host Eaton Rapids on Tuesday the 19th.
