Both teams were strong in the pitchers circle today as the Bulldogs lost 1-0 to The Vikings. For Ionia Sara Bevington allowed 6 hits and one run while striking out 4. Lakewoods Morgan Stahl allowed 2hits and 0 runs while striking out 14.
It was a tough loss going down 1-0 after such a great regular season record of 29 & 9. I would like to thank my team and parents and fans for surviving this season and dealing with all the restrictions and coming in and working hard or supporting Ionia Softball. Thanks to our AD Andy Barr for working hard so that we could have a Softball season. Thanks to all my coaches for all the extra effort this year!! Thanks to my 5 seniors for everything they have given to the Ionia Softball Program... you will be missed!
