Ionia Senior Ace Sara Bevington led things off in the circle allowing 4 hits and one run over 6 innings, striking out 7 and walking 0. The Bulldogs tallied 14 hits and cruised to an 11-1 Victory. Senior Michaela Castle ripped the ball going 4 for 4, scoring 2 runs. Senior Sara Bevington went 2 for 4 with 3 RBI's, Erin Groom a.k.a. TURBO went 2 for 4 scoring 2 runs,  Josie Phelps went 2 for 4 collecting an RBI and scoring a run. Seniors Hannah Blanchard & Summer Sawdy each collected an RBI. 

In the 2nd game the Bulldogs Clinched the lead in the 6th inning to defeat St. Johns 11-5. Josie Phelps threw two & two-thirds innings, allowing 4 runs on 4 hits and Struck out 3. Melayna Braman threw 4.1 innings and gave up 4 hits and 1 run while strinking out 3.  The Bulldogs collected 11 hits, Senior Maddie Braman crushed a double and collected 2 RBI's & she scored 2 runs. Senior Sara Bevington went 2 for 4 with 1 RBI,  Senior Michaela Castle scored a run and collected an RBI, Senior Hannah Blanchard was 1 for 2 and Senior Summer Sawdy went 1 for 3. 

What a Great Night to be a Bulldog and Honor 5 Special Seniors on our Field of Dreams! Thank You Summer, Hannah, Michaela, Sara & Maddie for all your years of dedication to this fantastic sport! This coach is Really Going to Miss All of You!! That being said......WE ARE NOT DONE YET!! The Bulldogs are 29 & 8, let's get that 30th Win on Tuesday against Lowell!!
