Sara Bevington threw 6 innings, surrendering zero runs on 3 hits, striking out 9 & walking 1. Josie Phelps threw the last inning giving up 1 hit, Struck Out 2 and walked 2.  Together the Bulldog pitchers shut out Saranac 8-0. Michaela Castle led the Bulldogs to Victory by driving in 5 runs on a triple in the first and a grand slam in the 2nd. In all the Bulldogs collected 9 hits, Rajalia Esquivel went 2 for 3, Phelps, M. Braman, L. Braman, Groom, Siemens all collected a hit. 

In the second game Josie Phelps led with 4 RBI's, she doubled in the 2nd and 4th and tripled in the 5th helping her Bulldogs to a 12-5 Win. Melayna Braman threw 4 and a third innings allowing 6 hits, 5 run n 6 K's. Bevington came off first and threw 1.2 innings giving up one hit and 5 K's. Phelps threw one inning.  3rd baseman Kam Perry went 2 for 3,  Layna Braman went 3 for 3 going yard in the 5th. Maddie Braman went 2 for 4 with 4 RBI's. Summer Sawdy went one for 2. 

It was a Gorgeous night at the Ionia "field of dreams" for the 6th annual Purple Strike Out Cancer Games, so great to have so many people show up to support this event. 

The Bulldogs are 25 and 8. We host East Lansing on Monday 5/24.
