The Bulldogs clinched the lead in the 5th inning to defeat the Raiders 5 - 3. Sara Bevington led things off in the pitchers circle, striking out 13, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits. The Braman sister led the Bulldogs  offensively with 2 hits each. Going into the 4th inning the Bulldogs were down 3 - 0, we scored 2 in the 4th and 3 in the 5th to get the Win. 

In the second game the Bulldogs had all cylinders firing to win the 5 inning game 11 - 1.  Melayna Braman got the start and allowed 5 hits, 1 run and Struck out 7. Ionia racked up 13 hits led by Maddie Braman, Melayna Braman & Erin Groom who all went 2 for 3 and they all had 2 RBI's. Sara Bevington was solid at the plate going 2 for 3, Josie Phelps had good at bats going 1 for 2 and drawing 2 walks and scored 2 runs. Clutch hits also delivered by Michaela Castle, Kam Perry and Summer Sawdy. 

The Bulldogs host an invitational tourney this Saturday at our "Field of Dreams"  we play at 10:00, Noon and 2:00

Ionia is currently 18 & 6 overall and 6 & 2 in league.
