Ace Sarah Bevington got the 15-0 win in 4 innings, surrendering zero runs on 2 hits and Struck out 5. Ionia went yard 3 times, Castle put one out in the 3rd & 4th innings and Melayna Braman also sent one over the fence in the 4th. Ionia tallied 15 hits led by Michaela Castle going 3 for 4 collecting 4 RBI's. Bevington, Sawdy and Esquivel all went 2 for 3.

In the 2nd game Ionia clinched the lead in top of 7th to defeat Mason 10-6. The game was tied at 6 when Maddie Braman singled on a 2-1 count, scoring a run. Castle stayed hot collecting singles in the 3rd, 5th & 6th and doubled in the 7th. Ionia smacked 20 hits Rajalua Esquivel went 4 for 5, Hannah Blanchard went 3 for 4, Kam Perry and the Bramans each went 2 for 5. Melayna Braman led things off in the circle allowing 12 hits and 6 runs over 7 innings, striking out 9 and walking 0.

Ionia is 16 - 4, we travel to Eaton Rapids Tuesday.
