LANSING CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL: 0
Sarah Bevington was in the circle for the 3 inning mercy, she gave up one hit, Struck Out 3, Walked 0 in the 16-0 Win. Ionia collected 12 hits in 2 innings, led by Josie Phelps 3 for 3, Sarah Bevington & Melayna Braman went 2 for 2. Layne Braman records the Win in the 2nd game 18-0 in 5 innings. The sophomore pitcher allowed 0 runs on one hit, striking out 5 & walking one. She also helped herself out by going 2 for 4 and she collected 2 RBI's on her Dinger. Maddie Braman went 2 for 3, Michaela Castle went 2 for 3. The team collected 13 hits and did not commit a single error.
I would like to Thank Ionia A. D. Andy Barr for making sure both of our softball fields were chalked and ready so that we would be able to get our games in the books.
Ionia travels to Mason tomorrow for "battle of the bulldogs"
