FOWLERVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 6
The Bulldogs came out flat and never recovered as we were mercies in the first game 15-0, we gave up a Grand Slam in the 3rd inning and again in the 5th inning. Sarah Bevington was in the circle and gave up 11 hits and 15 runs. Offensively the one bright spot was Summer Sawdy who stun the ball both times she was up. Ionia committed 3 costly errors and we have got to clean up our defense and move forward.
Ionia lost the 2nd game 6-3 with Layna Braman in the circle, we did collect a few more hits but, just didn't string them together. Defensively we committed 3 errors and we committed 2 costly base running errors.
We are currently 6 & 2, we play P.W. tomorrow at Home at 10 a.m.
We will get back at it tomorrow and learn and grow! GO BLUE
