LANSING EASTERN HIGH SCHOOL: 1
Sarah Bevington was in the circle the first game which lasted 3 innings and ended with a 16-1 Win for the Bulldogs. Offense was lead by Melayna Braman who finished 3 for 3 with a Dinger. Summer Sawdy collected 3 RBI's on 2 hits, Rachel Siemen was 2 for 3 and Michaela Castle collected 2 RBI's on 3 hits.
The second game lasted 5 innings with Melayna Braman pitching to her sister Maddie Braman ( I have been waiting to see this combo. since Melayna was in 7th grade) Mel struck out 6 and gave up 4 hits. Maddie went 5 for 5 at the plate, Raj Esquivel went 3 for 3, Sarah Bevington went 4 for 4 and collected her 2nd Dinger of the season.
That puts the Bulldogs at 6 & 0 to start season and we host Fowlerville on Thursday.
