OLIVET HIGH SCHOOL: 48
Ionia boys jv basketball team was defeated by Olivet by a score of 48-42 on Thursday night. In a close and hard fought game, we weren't able to make shots down the stretch to come away with the win, but we had many positive takeaways from the game.
Evan Jones played his best game of the season, with 4 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Bryce Shattuck had 9 points and Kadyn Ross added 7 points. Sam Montgomery put together a well rounded game, scoring 6 points to go witth 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Ionia will be off until next week Tuesday when we play Charlotte in a home triple header.
