HASLETT HIGH SCHOOL: 59
Ionia jv boys basketball was defeated by Haslett by a score of 59-37 on Tuesday night. We looked much improved in our second outing of the season, but still have many strides to take.
Grant Starks was a bright spot for Ionia as he scored 22 of the 37 points to go with 8 rebounds.
The jv team will take on Eaton Rapids Thursday night with a 7:00 home tip-off for their first conference game of the season.
