Game 1:
Ionia Junior Varsity Bulldogs Falls To St. Patrick
Ionia Junior Varsity Bulldogs lost to St. Patrick 9-5 on Wednesday.
St. Patrick jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after #7 drew a walk, scoring one run, #9 drew a walk, scoring one run, and a passed ball scored one run.
St. Patrick scored five runs on two hits in the top of the second inning. #2 singled, scoring one run, #20 singled, scoring one run, #15 drew a walk, scoring one run, and an error scored one run.
#2 earned the win for St. Patrick. The starter surrendered four hits and five runs over three innings, striking out six and walking four. Lucas McCoy pitched three innings in relief for Ionia Junior Varsity Bulldogs. The righty surrendered four hits and zero runs while, striking out three and walking none.
