Ionia JV Baseball had 2 tough games vs the Portland Raiders tonight. Ionia lost the first game 3-8 and managed to pull together a tie 5-5 for the second game of the night. 

Parker Seidleman was the starting pitcher for the first game. He went 4 and 1/3rd innings giving up 2 earned runs, 5 strikeouts and 1 walk. Trevor Hodges closed out the game throwing 1 and 2/3rd innings with 0 runs allowed, 3 strikeouts, and 2 walks. The Bulldogs managed to pull together 10 hits in the game. Gage Flanner, Kolson Daugherty, Wyatt Erridge, and Nolan Lundstrom all managed to get 2 hits a piece while Christian Miller and Parker Seidleman each secured a hit as well. 

Gage Flanner was the starting pitcher for the second game. He went 2 and 2/3rds innings giving up 1 earned on 3 hits, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts. Gavin Elvert pitched in relief, throwing 3 and 1/3rd innings giving up 1 earned run on 2 hits, 1 walk, and 4 strikeouts. Christian Miller closed out the game throwing 1 inning giving up 0 runs on 0 hits, with 2 walks, and 2 strikeouts. The Bulldogs only managed 4 hits in this game with Nolan Lundstrom leading the way with 1 double. Kolson Daugherty, Christian Miller, and Gaven Elevert each had 1 hit a piece as well. 

The Bulldogs are now 8-5-1 on the season and will next play @Home vs LCC on Tuesday May 10th @4pm
