Thursday the Ionia Swim Team went up against Waverly Lansing Catholic High School. The final score was Ionia 99 Waverly 76. First place finishers were Carl Goeckel in the 200IM and 100butterfly, Hannah Luttman in diving, Jaxxon Thelen in the 100 backstroke, and the 200 yard freestyle relay team of Carl Goeckel, Talon Thompson, Bodey Brownell, and Copper Highlen. Major point earners were Carl Goeckel with 15 points, Bodey Brownell with 11 points, Jaxxon Thelen and Bodey Brownell each with 10 points. Our next meet will be in Charlotte on Thursday February 6th.
