The Ionia girls varsity tennis team played a great match on Wednesday night and ended up tying Lowell 4-4. 

• First singles Avelin McGuire won her exciting three set match 6-4,4-6,10-5. 
• Second singles Abella Woodard lost 6-0,6-0. 
• Third singles Keagan Prescott lost 6-1,6-0. 
• Fourth singles Harleigh Kruger lost 6-0,6-2. 
• First doubles Tessa Lemke and Audrey Wall dominated their opponent winning 6-0,6-0. 
• Second doubles Amelia Griffith and Logan Thomas lost a tough match 6-0,4-6, 11-13. 
• Third doubles Katelyn Weber and Mariya Berry won 6-3,7-5. 
• Fourth doubles Ellie Lamphere and Camryn Robinson won in a great comeback 2-6,6-3,11-9.
   

The bulldogs return to action Monday at Waverly.
