ST. JOHNS HIGH SCHOOL: 7
Our Varsity Girl's Tennis team ended our season last night with a tough loss at home to a regional powerhouse in St John's High School 1-7.
We competed at every level and Saki Takeda had an excellent win at 4th singles 6-1, 6-2.
Other strong performances were Kate Brown in her final home meet and the freshmen team of Amelia Griffith and Lila Redder.
The team finished 8-5 in the regular season, 2-3 in the league.
Regional competition will take place in Portland on Thursday starting at 8:30 am with 1st singles and 1-4 Doubles while 2-4 singles will start at Ionia and finish at Portland.
