Girls Tennis Wins Lakewood Invite

This weekend, the Ionia Girl’s Varsity Tennis Team traveled to the Lakewood invitational and came away, victorious with 19 points!

Leading the way at singles were junior, Margaret Pischea and senior Saki Takeda both going 3-0 at 2nd and 4th singles. Doubles were paced by Tessa Lemke and Audrey wall who tied for 1st place at 1st doubles with a record of 2-1 and, Camryn Robinson and Ellie Lamphere who took first going 3-0.

The ladies will be on the road three times this week.

Tuesday 4-16 at Lansing Everett(match played at Lansing Eastern 4:30 start

Thursday 4-18 at Lakewood 4:00 start

Friday 4-19 at Lansing Eastern 4:00

The Varsity team improves to 4-0
