Ionia Boys Tennis enjoyed a big team win 7-1 against Lansing Eastern, for a great warm up to regionals. Winning at first singles Sam Eppler (12) 6-0, 6-0, second singles Miles Gregory (12) 6-0, 6-1, third singles Brett Petersen (12) 6-0, 6-0, fourth singles Austin Currigan (12) 6-0, 6-0, at doubles first doubles Landon Duell (12) and Harper DIoniauell (9) lost a tough match, second doubles Lucas Wandell (12) and Christian Miller (10) won 6-0, 6-0, third doubles Elijah Hatfield (12) and Colter Clark (12) won 6-3, 6-0, and fourth Doubles Ben Marhofer (12) and Cole Petersen (9) won 6-0, 6-0. We has two JV doubles teams compete with great success. Gavin Flanner (12) and Jake Whitney(9) won 6-1, 6-2, and Jude Gregory (9) and Ryan Lee (10) won 6-0. Tennis is off to regionals on 10-5, where we hope to be very competitive!
