Ionia Boys tennis won a share of the CAAC White Championship with a win over Lansing Catholic Central tonight 6-2. With a sweep at singles,  winning at first singles Sam Eppler (12) 6-4, 6-2, Second Singles Miles Gregory(12) 6-1, 6-3, third singles Brett Petersen(12) 6-0, 6-3, and fourth singles Austin Currigan (12) 7-5, 6-3. At doubles, first doubles  Landon Duell(12) and Harper Duell(9) lost a heartbreaker 3-6, 4-6, and so did second doubles Lucas Wandell (12) and Christian Miller (10) who lost in three sets 5-7, 6-3, 2-6, at third doubles we had a win by seniors Elijah Hatfield (12) and Colter Clark (12) 6-0, 6-2, and fouth doubles  Ben Marhofer(12) and Owen Shippey (11) won 6-2, 6-3. Tonight was electric, it was Senior night and the last home match, and last time ever on these courts, and for a share of the conference championship. If team wins at the conference tournament next Thursday we will win an out-right CAAC White Championship and have back to back titles. in Jv matches we had a significant win by Jude Gregory (9) and Ryan Lee (10) 6-4, Cole Petersen (9) and Mason Clark (9) 6-2, Riley Yokom(9) and Jake Whitney (9) 6-2.
