Ionia Bulldog Varsity Boys Tennis traveled to and beat Owosso High School 7-1. 8-1 if you include our JV match. Winning at First Singles was Sam Eppler (12) 6-0,6-0, second singles was a forfeit by Owosso due to illness. Third singles Brett Petersen (12) won 6-0,6-0, and fourth singles Austin Currigan (12) won 6-1,6-2.  First doubles Landon Duell(12) and Harper Duell (9) battled hard but just came up just short, second doubles Lucas Wandell (12) and Christian Miller (10) won 6--2,6-2, third doubles Elijah Hatfield (12) and Colter Clark (12) won 6-1,6-3, and fourth doubles Ben Marhofer (12) and new to varsity, Jake Whitney (9) won in a third set 3-6,6-0,6-1. We had one Junior Varsity match today Gavin Flanner (12) and Jude Gregory (9)  they had a great 5th doubles win 6-0,6-1. It was a great outing today, and we look forward to traveling again tomorrow to Greenville High School for a varsity and JV match with the Yellow Jackets.
