Ionia Varsity Tennis is off to a strong start with their first matches of the season at the Fowlerville Gladiator Invitational. We had four flights earn individual Gold medals for winning all three of their matches today. Second Doubles-Elijah Hatfield (12) and Colter Clark (12), Third Singles- Brett Petersen (12), Second Singles-Miles Gregory (12) and First Singles-Sam Eppler (12). There were also two flights that earned silver today, Third Doubles-Landon Duell (12) and Harper Duell (9) and Fourth Doubles-Ben Marhofer (12) and Owen Shippey (11). Ionia tennis was so strong today we came in second as a team and only lost first place in the tournament by 1 point!! Our next match is Monday at home 4:00 versus Mason. GO DAWGS!!
