Ionia boys Varsity Tennis fell in a tough match to St. Johns High School. St. Johns team mostly comprised of four year seniors beat Ionia 8-0. Several matches were close and three matches went into a third set super tie break but Ionia could not pull out a win. Ionia is gearing up for a run at the CAAC White Conference tournament this Thursday at Portland High School at 9:00am, Ionia boys Tennis has a great chance to win the league this year, they will shake off tonights match and be ready to compete for a conference title on Thursday.
