Ionia Boys Varsity Tennis Wins Lakewood Invitational

Ionia boys varsity tennis Defeated All six Teams in the Lakewood Invitational tennis tournament on Saturday 9-18-21. The participants included Lakewood, Mt. Pleasant, Hillsdale, Greenville, and Pennfield. All four flights of singles earned individual gold medals as well. In doubles, first through third doubles earned individual golds while fourth doubles earned an individual bronze. The team gave great effort and it showed in their results. They were proud to be awarded the Championship Trophy to put on display in the IHS Trophy case. Next up is a league match at Lansing Catholic Central on September 20, 2021 at 4:00pm.
