Ionia Boys Varsity Tennis took on the combined team of Eaton Rapids and Charlotte Varsity Tennis. Ionia won the Match 8-0, and had many stand out performances. The four flights of singles all won this evening with third singles, Brett Petersen (11) and Fourth singles, Austin Currigan (11) not dropping even a game with perfect scores of 6-0, 6-0. Doubles were a success as well, with a sweep. The team of Colter Clark (11) and Elijah Hatfield (11) at second singles with a near perfect score of 6-0, 6-1. Ionia boys tennis looks forward to some practice time the rest of the week to build momentum for our next match @ Portland on September 15, 2021.
