FOWLERVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 8
Boys Varsity Tennis played in the Fowlerville Gladiator Quad with Chelsea Varsity, Howell Varsity and Fowlerville Varsity. Fowlerville and Chelsea tied for the team win while Ionia came in third. However, there were some standout individual performances. Sam Eppler (junior) won the lone team gold by sweeping all opponents at first singles. Miles Gregory(junior) won Silver at Second Singles. Elijah Hatfield(junior) and Colter Clark (junior) took silver in third doubles. Honorable mention performance went to third singles Brett Peterson. He did not medal, however, beat Howell 6-0, 6-0, and lost to Chelsea and Fowlerville in close matches that required two set tiebreaks and two super tie-breaks. It was a great team performance in grueling heat conditions.
