The Ionia boys varsity tennis team ended its season on Wednesday with a 6-2 regional loss to #2 seed St. John's.  Sam Eppler capped off an incredible season with a 6-3,6-7,11-9 (third set tiebreak) win.  Brett Longanbach also finished an amazing season with an 0-6,6-3,6-2 win at 3rd singles.  Senior Jack Eppler finished his outstanding season with a tough 6-1,6-1 loss at 2nd singles.  Miles Gregory finished his highly successful year at 4th singles losing 6-3,6-3.

In doubles the 1st doubles team of Collin Palmer and Brett Petersen lost 6-1,6-0.  2nd doubles Colter Clark and Ben Marhofer lost 6-0,6-0.  3rd doubles Joel Cairns and Landon Duell lost  6-0,6-1 and 4th doubles Lucas Wandell and Elijah Hatfield lost 6-2,6-0.  
 

the bulldog tennis team finished the year with an 8-3 regular season record and won all three invitationals they participated in.  Ionia would like to thank seniors Jack Eppler, Brett Longanbach, Collin Palmer and Joel Cairns for all they have done in leading Ionia to one of their most successful seasons in program history.
