The Ionia boys varsity tennis team won again Wednesday night beating Lakewood 7-1. There were three forfeits with Ionia winning at 4th singles and 3rd and 4th doubles.
1st singles Sam Eppler won a tremendous match 7-6 (7-1) 6-3. Jack Eppler won at 2nd singles 6-3,6-0. And Brett Longanbach won at 3rd singles 6-0,6-0.
Brett Petersen and Collin Palmer list at 1st doubles 4-6,6-1 and 8-10 in the 3rd set super tie break. 2nd doubles won 7-5,6-4. Ionia only has one match left, Monday against Waverly before leagues on Thursday of next week and regionals the following week.
