The Ionia boys varsity tennis team defeated Eaton Rapids Tuesday night by a score of 6-2. First singles Sam Eppler won 6-0,6-1. 2nd singles Jack Eppler won 6-1,6-0. 3rd singles Brett Longanbach won 6-0,6-1 and 4th singles Miles Gregory won 6-0,6-0. 1st doubles Collin Palmer and Brett Petersen lost 0-6,3-6. 2nd doubles Ethan Rowland and Colter Clark lost 3-6,6-7 (7-9). 3rd doubles Joel Cairns and Landon Duell won 6-1,6-0 and 4th doubles Lucas Wandell and Elijah Hatfield won 6-0,6-0. Ionia is now 5-2 on the year and hosts Portland Wednesday night before traveling to Hastings on Thursday.
