EATON RAPIDS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 2
The Ionia boys tennis team defeated league rival Eaton Rapids Wednesday night by a score of 6-2. At first singles Sam Eppler won by default. 2nd singles Jack Eppler won 6-1,6-4. 3rd singles Brett Longanbach won 6-1,6-0. And 4th singles Miles Gregory won by default. 1st doubles Brett Petersen and Collin Palmer lost 2-6,2-6. 2nd doubles Joel Caitns and Ben Marhofer lost 1-6,5-7. 3rd doubles Elijah Hatfield and Lucas Wandell won 6-0,6-0. 4th doubles also won by default. Ionia is now 4-2 on the season and plays Eaton Rapids again next Tuesday at home.
