The Ionia boys varsity tennis team lost to Mason Monday night by a score of 2-6. Winning for Ionia were 3rd singles Brett Longanbach 6-2,6-3. Miles Gregory also won at 4th singles 6-2,7-5. At first singles Sam Eppler lost a tough match 4-6,4-6. 2nd singles Jack Eppler lost 4-6,3-6. 1st doubles Brett Petersen and Collin Palmer lost 0-6,0-6. 2nd doubles Ethan Rowland and Colter Clark lost 0-6,0-6. 3rd doubles Joel Cairns and Ben Marhofer lost 4-6,3-6 and 4th doubles Lucas Wandell and Elijah Hatfield lost 2-6,3-6.

Ionia is now 1-2 in duel matches on the year and plays next on Wednesday at Owosso.
