FOWLERVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 6
The boys varsity tennis team lost to Fowlerville Friday by a score of 2-6. Winning for Ionia were first singles Sam Eppler, 6-3,6-2, and 2nd singles Jack Eppler 7-5,7-6. 3rd singles Brett Longanbach lost a tough three set match 6-1,6-7,4-6. Fourth singles Miles Gregory list at fourth singles 3-6,4-6.
First doubles Brett Petersen and Collin Palmer list 2-6,1-6. Second doubles Ethan Rowland and Colter Clark lost 2-6,2-6. Third doubles Joel Cairns and Ben Marhofer lost 1-6,1-6. And fourth doubles Lucas Wandell and Elijah Hatfield lost 4-6,5-7.
The Ionia tennis team has their first home match on Monday vs Mason.
