The Ionia Golf teams traveled to Portland Country Club this afternoon to compete in their final CAAC White Jamboree of the season. 

The Varsity team came in with a team total of 190 today which was good enough for a fourth place finish. LCC shot a 171, followed by Charlotte with a 181, Eaton Rapids with a 183, the Bulldogs 190, Portland with a 201 and Sexton with a 258. Medalist for the Bulldogs was Hobbs Pinnow with a 45, followed by Lane Thomas with a 47, Ryan Barna and Evan Nummer with 49's, Spencer Tooker with a 55 and Brett Petersen with a 58.  The Varsity's league record is 13-17 with an overall record of 19-22.

The JV team came in with a team total of 205 which landed them in second place today.  LCC shot a 181, the Bulldogs 205, followed by Portland at 209, Charlotte 212 and Eaton Rapids with 218.  Medalist for the Bulldogs was Alex Yakes with a 48, Sam Meyers with a 49, Evan Vos with a 53, Tyson Brownell with a 55, Tyson Brownell with a 55 and Seth Woods with a 58.  The JV's league record is 16-4 with an overall record of 18-4. 

Both teams return to action Thursday afternoon when they take on Lakewood and Waverly at Morrison Lake Country Club in Saranac with a 2:30pm tee time.
