This morning the boys Varsity Golf team went to the Legacy golf course in Hastings on a beautiful sunny day to compete in a 10 team 18 hole invitational golf tournament. 

The Bulldogs pulled out a fourth place finish with a team total of 394. Lakewood won the tournament with a team total of 330, followed by Kalamazoo Loy Norrix with a 346, Otsego with a 355, the Bulldogs 394, Hastings with a 397, Comstock Park with a 408, Plainwell and West Michigan Aviation Academy with 424's, Newago with a 426 and South Haven with a 431.

Medalist for the Bulldogs was Hobbs Pinnow with an 89 (47/42), followed by Lane Thomas with a 99 (54/45), Ryan Barna (53/50) and Gunner Woods (50/53) with 103's, freshman Spencer Tooker making his Varsity debut shooting a 104 (52/52) and Alex Yakes with a 111 (55/56).  Hobbs 89 was the thirteenth best round of the entire tournament earning him an invitational medal. 

The Varsity's overall record stands at 17-19 for the season.

The team returns to action with the JV team on Monday for their final CAAC White Jamboree of the season at Portland Country Club with a 2:30pm tee time.
