On a sunny but chilly and windy afternoon the boys Varsity and JV golf teams traveled to Candlestone golf course to take on Belding. 

In the Varsity match the Bulldogs came up on the short end by falling to Belding with a team score of 200 compared to a 178 from the home team.  Hobbs Pinnow was medalist for the Bulldogs shooting a 46, followed by Ryan Barna and Gunner Woods with 51's and Lane Thomas and Alex Yakes with 52's. The Varsity Bulldogs fall to 5-7 on the season.

In the JV match the Bulldogs came away with the win shooting a team total of 207 compared to Belding 221. Medalist for the Bulldogs was Brett Petersen with a 48, Sam Meyers with a 51 and Spencer Tooker and Owen Shippey with 54's. The JV Bulldogs run their record to 8-2 on the season.

The Varsity travels to Royal Scot golf course in Lansing tomorrow to play in their third CAAC White League Jamboree hosted by Sexton. Since Sexton does not have a JV team there will be no JV match tomorrow. Both the Varsity and JV Bulldog teams are back in action together next Tuesday at home against Grand Rapids Aviation Academy with a 3:30pm tee time at Shadow Ridge golf course.
