The Varsity golf team headed to Charlotte this afternoon on a nice sunny day to play in their second CAAC White Conference Jamboree.  The Bulldogs shot a team total of 190 which was good for a third place finish today. Lansing Catholic won the jamboree with a team total of 171, followed by Eaton Rapids with a 179, the Bulldogs 190, Charlotte with a 193, Portland with a 198 and Sexton with a 272. Medalist for the Bulldogs was Ryan Barna with a 45, Lane Thomas with a 47 and Alex Yakes and Evan Nummer with 49's. Also playing was Hobbs Pinnow with a 51 and Sam Meyers with a 56. 

The Junior Varsity traveled to Eaton Rapids also playing in their second League Jamboree this afternoon.  The JV Bulldogs shot a team total of 168 which was good for a second place finish in this seven hole match.  Lansing Catholic won the jamboree with a team total of 153, the Bulldogs 168, Eaton Rapids with 174, Charlotte with a 175 and Portland with a 186. Medalist for the Bulldogs was Seth Woods with a 40, Spencer Tooker and Brett Petersen with 42's and Gunner Woods with a 43.  Also playing was Aden Wenzel with a 44, Tyson Brownell with a 50 and Cameron Henry with a 51.

The Varsity record on the season is 5-6 and the JV is 7-2.

Both teams return to action next Tuesday when they both travel to Belding for a match at Candlestone GC.
