On a beautiful sunny spring afternoon the Varsity and JV golf teams took to Shadow Ridge golf course in Ionia to open their 2022 season against the Saxons from Hastings. 

The Varsity Bulldogs fell in their home opening match shooting a team score of 185 while Hastings in came with a 174. Medalist for the Bulldogs was Hobbs Pinnow and Alex Yakes with 45's.  Ryan Barna shot 47 and Lane Thomas came in with a 48. 

The JV Bulldogs came away with a victory in their season opener shooting a team total of 216 compared to Hastings 223.  Medalist for the Bulldogs was Evan Nummer with a 45 followed by Brett Petersen's 54, Seth Woods 58 and Evan Vos with a 59.

Both teams are scheduled to play again tomorrow with the Varsity heading to Eaton Rapids and the JV going to Charlotte.  Both teams will then compete again this Saturday at the Ionia County Shoot Out at Morrison Lake Country Club.
