Girls Cross Country Finishes 9th at Marauder Invite

The Ionia Girls' Cross Country team raced their third 5K of the season on Wednesday at the 23rd Annual Marauder Invitational, also bringing home two medals. The Bulldogs had a warm but competitive race, placing 9th out of 10 teams for the varsity race. Carleigh Thompson led the team, finishing 28th with a time of 23:05.50 (SR). Fiona Sizemore achieved a personal record of 23:16.12 (30th), Emma Lange finished with a season record of 27:58.91, Dakota Badder finished 32:17.8 (87th), and Angie Reyes came in 96th with a season record of 36:35.20.
The Bulldogs' next meet will be on Saturday, September 7th at Central Montcalm High.
