Boys Varsity Cross Country vs. Saranac HS

The Ionia Boys’ Cross Country team raced their second 5K of the season on Wednesday at the Saranac Invitational. The Bulldogs had a tough day battling the heat and a hilly course, placing 9^th out of 10 teams for the varsity race. Liam Thelen came in 53^rd with a time of 19:06.2 (PR), but right behind him was Jaxxon Thelen with a great time of 19:07.6. Conner Morrison was 64^th with a PR of 19:52.7, Dalles Bailiff 81^st (21:32.7 – SR), Gabe Holman 91^st (26:40.1).

JV Boys’ had a strong performance with Xander Towery coming in at 43^rd with a PR of 22:14.2. Followed up by Talon Thompson PR 23:09.5 (53^rd) and Tylan Daniel 30:20.6 (85^th)

The Bulldogs’ next meet will be Wednesday September 4^Th @Uncle Johns Cider Milll at 6pm.
