The bulldogs opened district play with a team win tonight 70-34 against Howard City Tri-County. Leading scorer was Aubree White with 18 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Logan Thomas had 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Lexie Daugherty had 12 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Josie Lee had 6 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist. Avery Hoppough had 5 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. Emma White had 5 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals. Lilly Reams had 4 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist. Kennedi McDiarmid had 3 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals. Tori Banks had 2 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist. The bulldogs are now 10-13 overall and will play in the semifinal game on Wednesday, March 6 against Alma at 5:30 p.m. at Central Montcalm High School. Tickets can be purchased on line at gofan.co
