The Ionia girls varsity basketball team defeated lakewood Friday night by a score of 50-23 winning their second consecutive game in back to back nights.  Avery Roundtree led the bulldogs with 16 points and 5 rebounds.  Josie Phelps and Melayna Braman had 9 points each and Brynn Reams had 8 points and 6 rebounds. Sara Bevington chipped in with 6 rebounds and 2 points.

ionia funishes the regular season next week with a Monday game at Portland followed by a Friday game at home vs. Charlotte.
