The Ionia girls varsity basketball team lost to Mason Tuesday night by a score of 44-38. Cold shooting hurt Ionia including struggling from the free throw line. Brynn Reams led Ionia with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Jessa Swinehart had 8 points, all in the fourth quarter. Avery Roundtree had 5 points and 6 rebounds. Ionia is on the road twice more this week at Eaton Rapids for a league game on Thursday and at Lakewood on Friday.
