The Ionia girls varsity basketball team defeated Lansing Eastern Saturday afternoon by a score of 47-18 on senior night.  Brynn Reams led Ionia with 13 points and 9 rebounds.  Senior Avery Roundtree had 7 points, senior Sara Bevington had 8 points and 8 rebounds, and senior Sadie Veale had 5 points and 8 rebounds.  The Bulldogs have won their last two and play a very good Lansing Catholic team at home on Tuesday.  Ionia is now 3-5 on the season and 1-3 in the league.
