The Ionia girls varsity basketball team defeated Bullock Creek Thursday by a score of 53-44. Brynn Reams and Melayna Braman led Ionia with 16 points apiece. Reams also contributed 7 rebounds. Avery Roundtree had 8 points and 8 rebounds. Jessa Swinehart had 8 points 5 rebounds and seven assists. Ionia moves to 2-5 on the season. The bulldogs play Lansing Eastern at home on Saturday which will also be senior night.
