The Ionia girls varsity basketball team defeated Hastings Tuesday night by a score of 54-40. Taylor Kirby led all scorers with 28 point and also had 5 rebounds. Morgan Canfield chipped in with 11 points and Brynn Reams had 6 points and 11 rebounds. Ionia is now 6-1 on the season and plays at Sexton on Friday.
