The Ionia girl’s varsity basketball team defeated Charlotte in overtime Friday night by a score of 54-46.
Taylor Kirby led Ionia with 26 points. Brynn teams had 11 points and 15 rebounds. Morgan Canfield chipped in with 6 points and Sara Bevington had 5.
Ionia is now 11-3 on the season and 4-3 in the league. Ionia plays at Lansing Everett on Tuesday.
