The Ionia girls varsity basketball team defeated Eaton Rapids Friday night by a score of 55-53.
Morgan Canfield led the bulldogs with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Brynn Reams had a tremendous game with 15 points and 13 rebounds and Taylor Kirby had 8 pts and 3 rebounds.
Ionia is now 8-2 on the season and 3-2 in the league. Ionia has three games next week. Home Monday against Perry, home Tuesday against Mason, and at Portland Friday night.
