GREENVILLE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 62
Down as much as 14 points in the 4th Quarter the Bulldogs put on a fierce comeback and defeated Greenville 72-62 in their home opener. Ionia was led by Max Doty's 21 points. Spencer Tooker and Travis Tucker Jr. added 15 points each. Rounding out the scoring for Ionia was Colt Piercefield with 9 points, Hobbs Pinnow 7 points and Aden Wenzel 5 points.
Ionia is 1-1 on the season and travels to Haslett on Tuesday.
