The Ionia Girls Track and Field Team competed at the Charlotte Gowell / Miars Last Chance Meet on Tuesday May 14, 2024. The focus of the meet was for the athletes to post some PR’s as the 2024 Season phases into the Championship portion of the year. Team scoring was not part of the meet and individual awards were not earned either. The main focus of the meet was for all of the athletes to earn PR’s and improve performances and thus seedings for the upcoming Regional Championship meets and various League Meets. Ionia will be at Mason Friday for the Division 2, Region 15 meet and in competition again next Tuesday in Eaton Rapids who will be hosting the CAAC White Championship meet.
