The Ionia Varsity Dance Team traveled to Detroit on Sunday to compete at the Little Caesar's Arena in the 33rd Pistons Classic Dance Competition.

The team competed in two categories, bringing home trophies in both. Ionia placed 3rd with their Small Varsity Jazz routine and also earned a 5th place award for their Small Varsity Pom routine.
